Set within the quiet Ayrshire countryside on a working farm this attractive spacious farmhouse makes a great holiday base to explore the varied coastline, rocky hill walks and beautiful views to the Isle of Arran. Culzean Castle and Country Park (NT) is well worth a visit. There are fishing and boat trips from Girvan, 3 miles. Excellent golf with Turnberry, 10 minutes away. Ayr, 18 miles has good shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Glasgow/Prestwick Airport, 24 miles. Shop and pub 3 miles.

Wonderful cottage and stay. Plenty of room and lovely enclosed garden for the dog. Just 5 minutes from girvan beach and an ideal area of you want to visit the many historical attractions around the area. Well worth the travel. Mary the owner was very nice and helpful.

absolutely fantastic house - John and Mary both fantastic folk cant do enough for you to help you have a great time - we had a tv each so no arguments aboutwhat to watch - " cottage " was immaculate when we arrived - everything youl ever need is there - 1 downer ( for me personally ) the double bed was to short for me ( am 6 ft 6 in ) so i slept in a single bed which was just as comfy - the 2 horses were wonderful and friendly as well - if you need more coal - kindling - logs just ask ( no extra charge ) anybody staying here is gauranteed an exceptional holiday

The Cottage was a lovely, spotless and spacious home with everything we could need for a great holiday. Situated down a quiet lane on a farm with sheep at the bottom of the garden it was lovely and peaceful. Our little boy loved seeing the pony everyday. The host was very friendly and made us a delicious welcome pack of homemade shortbread. There was a library of books available, several dvds and a selection of games.We would definitely recommend this cottage for a lovely holiday for all ages.
