Lovely spacious cottage in a secluded spot overlooking the owner's garden and pond. Good variety of birds on the feeders. 15 minutes walk from Aberfoyle with it's shops, bar/restaurants and cafes. Several walks from the door. Recommend the Faerietree restaurant (booking advised). The David Marshall Lodge is worth a visit with its information centre, woodland walks and GoApe (if you are brave enough).

We enjoyed our 2 weeks in the cottage. Lots of walks around the area for your dog as our Skye liked very much. The village Aberfoyle is a 10 minute walk with pub, Co-op, fish & chips & coffee shops & lots of interesting places to go to if you fancy exploring central Scotland, i.e Loch Lomond & Bannockburn for instance. We would recommend.

What a stunning location!! Literally walk out the driveway and forest walks which our dogs loved!! The cottage is beautiful and welcoming. The garden has birds visit so close to the kitchen window, you just dont want to move.. There are local pubs, co-op a 5 min drive away. Great area if have bikes too. Loads of Lochs and waterfalls to explore but will need a car. The area won our hearts and it was just pure bliss, relaxation, friendly people. It has made us think that it will be a great place to live in comparison to the reality. Met the owner as we were leaving and a really lovely man, I would recommend going here. If you have dogs... the garden is fully enclosed and safe which runs round from the back to the front. Mine loved it and thought they owned it by the end of the week. Thank you Scotland... we will be back!
