Located in a quiet area of the village of Lochearnhead, set in the heart of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, this detached holiday bungalow enjoys views across the waters of Loch Earn. This is the perfect base to enjoy the wide range of activities: mountain biking, water sports, kayaking, sailing, fishing and water skiing, golfing and also hillwalking and climbing with over 30 Munros within a 30-minute drive. Visit Oban and Fort William, Perthshire, Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Pub and restaurant ½ mile. The water sports center is located at the bottom of the road less than a four minute walk and next to the pub.

We felt privileged to be able to stay here in this beautiful (and comfortable too) holiday home. "Oh my gosh, it's lovely, it's so lovely!" were my first words (repeated a number of times I think!) when the three of us walked in! (I then gleefully reminded my husband and teenage son that "Haven't I made a good choice?" The views from the lounge, patio, and a couple of the bedrooms loch-facing were breath taking. The furnishings and the extra touches around the home were really thoughtful. Everywhere was spotless. Andy had phoned us the week before to introduce himself and touch base which again was really appreciated and very thoughtful. He also kindly communicated halfway through our stay to confirm that a weekly clean had happened for us mid-holiday stay, as planned, during our fortnight's stay, and that everything was O K. We enjoyed two weeks here. We loved spending time in the home, and doing occasional cooking for ourselves too, and other days we went out exploring. We loved relaxing around the dining room table, or the lounge, with the comfortable sofas and foot rests, or on the verranda, or chilling in the other rooms. We have special memories too of sitting on the patio chatting into the late evening/ night and taking in the air and loch view! A good bar / pub is about a three minute walk where we went a few times during our stay. We all absolutely loved being here and staying here.

Kitchen was not clean, the oven was not cleaned for many years, also the cook top was dirty and no cleaned at all (the doritos from the former visitor was still on the ground).Also the sitting room not clean at all. The bathroom was a little better but allso not 100%

Lochside View was in a stunning location . Everything you needed was there and more . A beautiful bungalow with a spacious living room . Had a very comfortable bed . We had such a wonderful restful and relaxing break , 14 nights was barely long enough , even then we were reluctant to leave ! We would love to return . We would recommend the village of Killin which had a lovely coffee shop and the scenery on the road there was awesome
