Cleanliness poor in kitchen lovely location though needed separate toilet from bathroom flooring by back door and cloakroom needed to be Lino not carpet and gate lock for enclosed area didn’t work so had to tie with strap . Overall just dated and cleanliness poor we even found last occupants chips in oven and toaster full crumbs shouldn’t have to clean before we can use it

Gorgeous setting looking over to Loch Lomond and the hills. Well equipped kitchen and house in general with plenty room for our group of 7 adults. There was a temporary hiccup with lack of towels then the heating and the shower but the hosts were very responsive and quickly helped out. A few small things could make the holiday home even better like a welcome pack of milk and some tea &coffee sachets, dishwasher tablets (there was a welcome bottle of Prosecco the second day with our towels), a supply of kindling for the wood burning stove ( we found small pieces of wood in the well stocked wood store which did the job), a hairdryer (I’ve got used to not taking one these days). Another suggestion would be a shelf for toothbrushes etc in the en-suite bathroom as no room around the sink- but not-picking now.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. The house was comfortable, cosy and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The location was lovely, and it was a perfect base for exploring the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!
