Laurel Cottage is a semi-detached cottage recently built in 2022 and heated using sustainable sources. It has a spacious open plan living area with wood burner, dining for up to eight people and a well-equipped kitchen. There are three bedrooms sleeping up to six people; the principal room has an en suite, and there is a separate family bathroom. There is a galleried area, with a double sofa bed, which also makes an ideal play area. Outside is a hot tub, picnic table and chairs.

All of the cottages have hot tubs and a badger cam, trained on a local badger set, which is very popular with visitors. There are also two cameras observing a half acre pond and a bird feeder where greater spotted woodpeckers visit daily. Over some 20 years the owners have built a number of relationships with local businesses providing everything from catering, pamper days, local tours, things you’ll need like hairdressers and beauty therapists of a wedding or even try your hand at knife and axe throwing.

Booked for a family birthday celebration. Really enjoyed the location, the hot tub was appreciated by all and the play park with highland cows was brilliant. Walk into the local town was nice and overall and really enjoyable break

We absolutely loved staying in Laurel Cottage. The location and amenities were perfect for our needs, additionally the owner was fantastic and helpful. The train from Linlithgow to Edinburgh took only 18 minutes and 30 minutes to Glasgow. Our daughter is in a wheelchair and again the set up was perfect for her needs. Having the highland cows to fuss and the bird camera to watch topped off a great holiday. We have already been recommending the property to friends.
