Stone-built and detached, it is set within the extensive grounds of the owners’ home on the edge of a village where a good pub, local shops and an opportunity to take a canal cruise can be found. For keen walkers there is good hill walking in the Pentland Hills Regional Park. Glasgow, Perthshire, Fife and the Borders and, of course, the beautiful city of Edinburgh are all within easy access. The cottage is in need of a huge refresh. There is mould in the shower, cracks in the bathroom sinks, stains on the carpets and sofas and it looks generally unloved. The back door was covered in cobwebs too. The trees and shrubs outside are now so over grown it is dark all day.

We've just had a week in the coach house. It's on the grounds of ratho hall . Loads of woodland surrounding you ideal for dog walking. The coach house was lovely plenty of room. Parts of it are looking a little tired but nothing major. Most of the activitys we had planned were all within half hour away, including Edinburgh itself. The edinburgh climbing centre was only a 10 min drive and definitely worth a visit. will definitely be visiting again.
