Excellent communication from the hosts! A little tricky to find, but perfect quiet spot within walking distance of the village shop & nearby garden centre, with cafe & antiques.Wonderful welcome pack, with essentials PLUS fresh flowers, chocolates & fizz.Super comfy beds, fluffy bath sheets, kitchen gadgets galore & a real homely feel (imperfections here & there add to its charm, you feel relaxed).The conservatory was a fabulous family space & perfect for our furry friend. Enclosed gardens, deer, squirrels & birds. We enjoyed giant chess, playing pool/snooker & the addition of the hot tub was a wonderful birthday treat (payable on arrival). We needn’t venture far, log burner on, comfy sofas to snuggle up on, kids & teens amused - a great family gathering house!

Torland never disappointed ..Amazing house great for magical hide and seek with grandchildren Generous arrival starter pack chocolate wine and flowers very generous.Hosts have thought of everything required for a break away Pool table a big hit as were all outdoor activities. Hot tub icing on cake.Had great day at New Lanark Heritsge Site..Highly recommend a visit
