Delightfully set in the grounds of the owner’s home, it is furnished with antique pine and has great charm and character. Shops, restaurants, bars, leisure centre, canal and a railway station with regular 20-minute links to Edinburgh can all be found within a few hundred yards. We spent a lovely Christmas at Garden Cottage. It is perfectly situated off a lovely high street and the train station is a 15 minute walk away with regular trains to Edinburgh and Glasgow. The cottage itself is clean, with comfortable beds and so cosy. I would definitely return in the future.

Loved the cottage. The main bedroom was a little tight however.What a lovely cosy well equipped cottage and our hosts were most helpful.Loved the living room on the first floor and the view.
