We loved our stay in one of the hideaway lodges. Whilst the location is definitely off the beaten track, we found day trips to both Glasgow and Edinburgh easy to manage, and still get back in time to cook dinner. The tranquillity and facilities (warm shower & cosy beds) of the lodge of an evening were definitely very welcome after long days in both cities.
