Bodedern is a tranquil and pleasant village in the centre of the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. It has a welcome tavern, a shop, and a Post Office as well as other conveniences. The entire island is brimming with interesting sights and activities, all of which are within a 30-minute drive. The nearby towns of Holyhead and Trearddur Bay, the former boasting attractive shops and taverns as well as the magnificent Breakwater with its County Park, are also close by. Trearddur Bay, however, is surrounded by beautiful craggy shoreline, sandy beaches and coves, as well as the charming South Stack Lighthouse. Visit the beautiful mediaeval town of Beaumaris, with its dramatic castle and a variety of exciting things, on the opposite end of the island. Llanfair PG, the world's second-longest one-word place name, is also close by. For outdoor aficionados, head to mainland Wales and spend a day in Llandudno, Conwy, Caernarfon, or even the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

It is a great base to easily visit lots of places on the Isle of Anglesey. Anglesey is absolutely beautiful! The cabin was in a remote location but not too remote with easy access to nearby amenities. Extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need, the welcome hamper packed full of goodies was a lovely touch. Owners were very friendly but hardly saw them between check in and check out so privacy not an issue at all - but they are on hand and willing to help should you need them for anything. Hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day out exploring and the sunsets from the tub in such peaceful surroundings were just so serene to watch.

It was a lovely welcoming touch to have a hamper waiting for us full of local goodies and it was lovely to relax in the hot tub after a long day exploring Anglesey and North Wales.

Upon arrival the cabin looks as stunning as it does in the pictures. It was clean and cosy. The host was there to hand the keys over and explain things to us. They had a welcome basket with locally sourced treats which was a very nice touch. We had a BBQ on the night and made use of the hot tub. Overall our stay was lovely all the amenities work great and although the cabin is next to a working farm as well as the house - it did not affect our privacy or stay at all. I would highly recommend this accommodation and look forward to going back there again.
