Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. Sea views. This detached bungalow plus additional annexe sleeping 2, only 20 yards from the sea, looks out over the rugged coastline of Trearddur Bay with magnificent views out to sea from the living room, dining room, master bedroom, large games room and the large balcony in the annexe. The games room in the annexe has a seating/TV area, table football and pool table (slate bed). The gardens to the front and rear are good sized and there is enough driveway space for a boat. There are many coastal walks around the area (including some on the doorstep). The beach only 20 yards from the property is great for rock pooling. Trearddur Bay’s Blue Flag beach is just around the corner (300 yards), as well as many water sports, including a diving school based in Trearddur Bay. There is also a golf course and stables close by, as well as sea fishing. Take a trip around the island and see many beaches and places of interest such as Plas Newydd and Beaumaris with its castle. There is the rugged terrain of Snowdonia to explore, and Ireland is not that far; why not take a day trip to Dublin. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Location of the cottage fantastic, walkable to shops and cafes and the beach at Treaddur Bay, however the house is suffering from a woeful lack of investment. We encountered many minor issues during our stay (cracked windows, windows that wouldn't close, windows with missing handles, rips on the pool table and cues with no tips (which the owner reckons is still usable). The greatest issue though was the leak in the roof that meant rainwater was dripping onto our baby's cot! The floors were also terribly dirty; we had to use baby wipes on our feet at the end of each day to remove the dirt and grime we'd picked up off the floors, which supposedly get mopped before every booking...yeah right. To sum up, this cottage is a real shame. It could be such an amazing place that is actually worth the small fortune the owners are charging for it, if only they had put some of that money into maintenance and repairs of the property over the years rather than their own back pockets. Steer clear if you like your money put to good value and your baby's cot to remain dry 👍 there are plenty of other nice looking properties in and around Treaddur Bay which we hope to use in the future - can't recommend the location enough, but won't be returning until drastic structural and maintenance improvements are made.

11 of us stayed for a birthday weekend. Lots of space. Lovely setting with views over the Bay. Very good restaurant only 5 minutes walk away. Small beach and rock pools close by too. Overall clean and tidy. The house is a bit tired looking and could do with a paint refresh but that doesn’t detract from having a great time. The pool table is a great addition that has obviously been well loved over the years and would benefit from a new green cloth and new cues. Would definitely recommend staying here.
