Guests say

Gwelfor is praised for its unbeatable seaside location, spacious layout, and stunning views, making it ideal for families and groups. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy log burner, and secure garden, with the games room being a popular bonus. While some mention the property could benefit from updates and deeper cleaning, most found it comfortable and welcoming. The property manager receives positive feedback for responsiveness. Overall, guests enjoyed memorable stays and many would return.

Reviews are mixed, with several guests noting issues such as dust, sticky surfaces, and the need to clean crockery and appliances on arrival. However, others found the property clean and tidy, with fresh bedding and towels. The overall impression is that cleanliness is acceptable but could be improved with more thorough attention between stays.

The location is consistently highlighted as exceptional, with the sea on the doorstep, beautiful views, and easy access to local amenities and beaches. Guests repeatedly mention the setting as a major highlight of their stay.

Guests generally found the house spacious, warm, and comfortable, with large bedrooms and soft towels. Some mention issues with mattresses and pillows needing replacement, and noisy stairs, but most found the beds comfortable and the living spaces inviting.

The property offers a well-equipped kitchen, games room, and ample parking, which guests appreciate. However, several reviews mention maintenance issues such as faulty showers, dated décor, and the need for new mattresses and dining chairs. The facilities are good but would benefit from some updates and repairs.

While guests appreciated the warm welcome and helpful property manager, there were comments about the lack of starter packs for the log burner and absence of basic kitchen supplies. Some guests would have liked a welcome pack or local information, but these are not guaranteed.

We love it here! This was our second visit. Myself and 9 of my ‘crafty ladies’ came in November last year, March this year and we’ve booked again for October!! The layout is perfect for larger parties like ours and the location is amazing! The views and beach right on your doorstep is such a luxury. The house is basic but comfortable. Very clean, comfortable beds in spacious bedrooms. We like to eat together so 10 dining chairs would be better than 8 and it could do with a new fridge and dishwasher. Lisa who manages the property is wonderful! We needed to contact her on the second day and she was brilliant. Got the issue sorted straight away and was super friendly. Roll on October!!
