Little Mead is a well-received holiday cottage in Anglesey, praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and beautiful garden. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, well-stocked kitchen, and the property's proximity to local amenities and attractions. While some guests suggest improvements in bed comfort and additional kitchen items, the overall experience is reported as relaxing and enjoyable, with special mentions of a welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful touches like a welcome card and wine.
Guests consistently describe the property as clean, with several reviews highlighting its spotless condition. The term 'hotel quality' suggests a high standard of cleanliness, which is a significant positive aspect for the property.
The location is generally praised for being close to amenities and attractions, including Treaddur Bay and a shopping centre. The property's proximity to a relaxing beach and the mention of a new Indian restaurant add to the appeal, although there is a mention of nearby RAF noise.
While many guests find the beds comfortable and the property relaxing, there are several mentions of uncomfortable mattresses and low beds, which could affect the comfort level for some guests, particularly the elderly or infirm.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and spacious rooms. However, guests have made suggestions for additional kitchen items, outdoor furniture, and improvements to the hot water system, indicating room for enhancement in facilities and maintenance.
The property owners are commended for thoughtful gestures such as a welcome card and wine, which contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. However, as gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, this score reflects the positive impact of such gestures when provided.

The interior decor is lovely, stylish and in keeping with a Coastal property. The Conservatory is Beautiful with lovely views over the spacious garden and countryside beyond. Private not over looked and a real âRetreatâ which we needed. The absolute 5star addition to Little Mead anre tge Owners Carole & Jonathan, fantastic communication, service and nothing was too much trouble anytime we needed them, very caring people. We rent extensively in Uk and around the world this is in our top 10. We will be back.

Very peaceful with a beautiful, sheltered garden which the sun shines on all day long. The cottage is spacious and the front room is especially comfortable with lovely, large settees. Around a 20 min walk to the beach, you can go the road way or there is a walk across the fields ( stunning views). South Stacks is nearby which is well worth a visit and is an area of outstanding beauty. The only thing I would say which is a negative about the cottage, is there isnât anywhere to place your â stuffâ in the bathroom - nowhere to hang clothes. So you end up putting things on the floor which gets wet from the shower. All in all, Little Mead is a lovely cottage and well worth a visit, It feels peaceful, is spacious ( for a family of five - 3 teenagers) and is situated on the stunning island of Anglesey :) Thank you for a lovely stay!

The garden is superb for little ones and the house is spacious and comfortable. The weather was even quite good for Angelsey and it was very relaxing to sit in the sunroom and bask a while. (You can close the doors and cut out all the noise from within!) The walk into Trearrdur Bay takes about 20 minutes but isn't too strenuous and a brilliant new Indian restaurant has just opened in the village. It takes about 5 minutes to drive to the vast shopping centre for the main supermarkets. A word too about the owner, Claire. She couldn't have been more helpful when we needed her. Little Mead comes 100% recommended by us!
