Guests generally find the cottage clean and well-maintained, with specific compliments on its tidiness upon arrival. However, there are isolated comments about areas that could benefit from more thorough cleaning, such as under the sofa cushions and beds, and the cooker hood. These appear to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is consistently lauded for its tranquility and natural beauty, with easy access to beaches, coastal walks, and a local pub. The peaceful setting and proximity to local attractions contribute to the high rating, although some guests mention narrow access roads.

Comfort is a strong point for this property, with numerous guests highlighting the comfortable beds and cosy atmosphere. The presence of a smart TV and first-class WiFi is appreciated, although there are occasional comments on minor maintenance needs.

While many reviews express gratitude for the amenities and features provided, there is no specific mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

This property is in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and at the end of the garden there starts a Special Protection Area for Birds(SPA) that stretches down towards the coast. We take that responsibility very seriously. For the benefit of the local flora and fauna we have also asked our gardeners (who attend the property every 14 days) to stop using any hazardous pesticides or weed killer. As a result there may be some moderate wild plant growth between the gardeners’ visits (in spring and summer months). Hopefully it won’t impact your enjoyment of the beautiful surroundings.

Enjoy a stay in the lively town of Valley resting in the west of Anglesey and lying just before the Four Mile Bridge to Holyhead. Offering a bustling spot complete with pubs, shops and restaurants, it provides a fabulous base for exploring Wales' jewel in the crown. It was cosy, clean, light and modern. All the things you needed for a relaxing and active holiday. It was amazing.... Location great... Near The White Eagle which served fine food.

  • David

Overall, cleanliness was good, although we noticed no one had hoovered under the cushions of the delightful and comfortable sofa for some time as there were remains of dead insects/larvae. Only noticed when checking sofa cushions on the last day, to see if we had left anything. Looking under the beds, I could tell no one had cleaned there for some time, either. Also, the cooker hood/extractor fan was dripping with grease, filter was well in need of replacement. Again, it was obvious that it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. In summary, we were both very happy with our stay, but I suggest that you make more thorough checks, regarding the quality of your cleaning contractor's work.
