Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable seating, and the personal touches from the host. The property's character and homely feel have made for memorable stays, with the sunset views from the decking being a highlight. While some guests noted areas for improvement, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with several guests finding it clean and well-maintained. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as musty smells, unhoovered carpets, and unclean cooking pots, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

The facilities at Windy Ridge, including the well-equipped kitchen and additional entertainment options like a pool table and dart board, are appreciated. However, there are remarks about maintenance issues such as the need for lawn care, slippery decking, and the lack of hot water, which affects the score.
The host's thoughtfulness is evident through personal touches like email contact before arrival and a welcome pack, which guests found delightful. While such gestures are appreciated, it is noted that these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Close to the beach and shops. Beautiful views of the sunset and sunrise from the veranda. Thoughtful welcome pack from the owners. Kitchen very well stocked with lots of extra crockery and cooking utensils. Beach toys in the garage. Well laid out communal areas (lounge and dining area) for 6 adults. Great for our toddler as all rooms are on one floor with a lovely garden to play in. We would highly recommend.

Last part of track to property very rough. Lots of decking around with some needing attention. Electric water taps tricky to control. Biggest downside for me was only being able to access outside seating area from front door via a rocky path and not being able to see out of lounge windows when sitting. The views were lovely though you cannot see the sea from the property.

Lovely views. Walking distance to beach. However the outside of the property was hazardous. Some of the boarding was rotten and some fencing not secure. Uneven rocky ground or many steps to access garden where the grass looked like it had not been cut for some time. The main steps to the porch door and the decking were very slippery, especially after rain. Not really suitable for small children or infirm
