Guests generally enjoy the spacious, cosy cottage with its well-equipped kitchen, secure garden, and hot tub. The property is praised for its quiet location and suitability for dogs, though some note the lack of nearby walks without using the main road. The underfloor heating and log burner add to the comfort, despite occasional comments about chilly rooms and worn furniture.
The cottage is mostly described as clean and well-maintained, with a few isolated reports of overlooked areas. The presence of dog waste in the garden from previous occupants was mentioned, but this seems to be an exception rather than the rule.
The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local amenities and beaches. However, the lack of pavements for safe dog walking directly from the property and its position on a fast road slightly detract from the score.
The cottage is often described as cosy and comfortable, with underfloor heating and a log burner. Some guests mentioned that the furniture and mattresses could be updated for enhanced comfort.
Facilities like the hot tub and secure garden are highlights, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as non-working ovens, tired furniture, and the need for faster internet. These comments suggest room for improvement in this category.
While some guests mentioned receiving tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits upon arrival, as well as kindling for the fire, there are not enough reviews referencing such gestures to accurately score thoughtfulness. It should be noted that while these touches are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

Had a lovely extended weekend here. The cottage is huge but still retains a cosy feel, helped by the low ceilings and log burner. There were only two of us so we didn't use any of the upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. The downstairs bathroom looked like it had just been refitted (but didn't have a shower over the bath as was described in the listing). The downstairs bedroom was a large double overlooking the garden and hottub and had a small ensuite with a shower, wc and sink. The ground floor is heated via underfloor heating. This worked great for the majority of the ground floor but the lounge was unfortunately a bit chilly unless you had the log burner blasting. There were plenty of seating options, a choice of 3 sofas. Unfortunately there was no dvd player which was listed as being available in the advert. Finally the outdoor space was ideal for anyone with dogs, very secure and a large space to run around. The hottub was fabulous. Always hot and easy to use. My only real moan about the property is that it's on a fast road with no pavements so we were unable to walk the dogs direct from the property but this wouldn't stop me from staying here again.
