Accessed through a communal hallway you’ll find a comfortable, homely apartment perfect for families. Cemaes is the most northerly village in Wales and often referred to as Anglesey’s hidden gem. A stay in Cemaes will not disappoint with its glorious beaches, historic buildings, scenic walks and close proximity to local attractions. Whatever you choose it’s a wonderful base to explore and enjoy the beautiful village of Cemaes and the island beyond.
The fantastic island of Anglesey has 125 miles of coastline to explore, and you’ll be spoilt for choice along the way for many beaches and famous sites to visit. There are miles of coastal paths to explore where you can take in the magnificent scenery whilst spotting the local wildlife. You are just a short drive away from some of the island’s famous sites, such as South Stack Lighthouse and Beaumaris, a unesco World Heritage Site with a historic moated castle. You can take a boat trip from here at certain times of the year to visit Puffin Island! The Rib Ride boats also run from various locations across the island for the vast majority of the year, and offer a fascinating insight into history and the local wildlife. There is something for everyone of all ages to enjoy in this diverse region no matter your interests.

Lovely stay at Seashell Cove, the bay across the road, pub and coffee shop around the corner nice and fully equipped flat, grill had breadcrumbs on it, toaster had seen better days and teapot needed a good clean which we did ourselves, toilet seat was broken on arrival, but phoned the owner Joe and it was sorted straight away with a new seat, overall very nice stay and would stay here again

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. After reading some harsh reviews I was worried that it might be grubby but no, it was very clean neat and well equipped. So as of September 2026 I would recommend. The only minor issue was that the toilet seat was not affixed and needed a bit of care. I would have expected to see a note about this as the owner MUST know this is the case as you can't raise the seat without seeing the issue and the place was spotless so had been cleaned! But a minor grumble.We went mainly for the dogs and the beach and for both the place just couldn't score higher. The beach is only steps away from the front door and it is magnificent. There is a good wood fired pizza place in the beach car park (highly recommend), a decent cafe for breakfast and a Morrisons Local but not much else in Cemmaes itself. Oh, and there's two pubs, one of them is permanently closed. The other has a good array of hand pumps, but no cask ale to go with them - the brewery just will not invest in the place.But if you're after a quiet relaxing time with space for the dogs to enjoy themselves this may well be for you. It certainly worked for us. We could have gotten into the car and gone exploring - there seemed to be plenty of options for that, but it wasn't what we went for so the car didn't get much use.It's a YES from us.

This could be a lovely little flat if only it was a little cleaner and some tlc given to it Especially the windows there is mould round most of them. Also the draft that blows over top of washing machine is quite bad and makes the kitchen cold. Luckily we only had 2 nights of neighbours above. Both were quite loud, one in talking and one had a dog constantly running around.
