We booked The Lodge at the very last minute so we were able to grab a discount .The aim of our break was to enjoy some peace and quiet as well as visit some beautiful parts of Anglesey.My husband does astrophotography and was able to enjoy a couple of beautiful clear nights in the dark skies.For the bird lovers the dawn chorus was quite beautiful with many lovely species to capture on the Merlin App.Dan was very responsive to our request for outdoor furniture following the arrival of spring sunshine.We had a lovely welcome pack awaiting us with brown bread,milk,farm eggs and Welsh Cakes.We brought our own fresh coffee and the large cafetière provided enabled us to have our morning coffee surrounded by the glorious views of misty hills and a field of sheep.Tip;pack your larger mugs as the cups are on the small side(Dan we like a good brew and to get our moneys worth out of a tea bag😂)Very nice local walks and Llangefni is just a few minutes drive ,handy for the Supermarkets but so well worth a visit if you like nice cafes excellent charity shops and a very good yarn and fabric shop.We enjoyed a visit to the museum and art gallery (Oriel Mon) where I particularly wanted to see the C Tunnicliffe exhibition ..also a lovely cafe there.The Dingle country Park was a little hidden gem .All in all a lovely stay…

Lovely break at the lodge, the accomodations blend in perfectly with the surrounding area. Very clean and well apointed. Owners very friendly. The welcome pack was very helpful, the fresh eggs were delicious. Loved the animals, particularly the horses. Would recomend to anyone wanting a peaceful break in beautiful countryside.
