Only drawback is there there is no mention of the small steps into the en-suites and in the downstairs hallway in the description. These are challenging when have mobility needs and did mean we had to pay extra attention to an elderly member of our party at all times through the stay.

It says it all that I have already booked for a week with the family in 2025

It was spacious enough for eight people and there was private parking for two cars. The cleanliness could be improved. Don't look under the sofa or kitchen island. It also felt a little cluttered too. There were pans in the kitchen that wouldn't work on the hob and many of the cupboards seemed to be filled with everything you didn't need. We ended up piling our food onto the island as there wasn't a lot of storage. All the pillows and duvets are feathers (not great when my husband is allergic to feathers) so we bought pillows and a blanket to sleep under (there were plenty blankets/throws but we didn't fancy sleeping under them). The bunk bedroom is quite small with hardly any storage so is only suitable for children (with their clothes stored in the larger rooms). The owners seemed nice and helpful (they telephoned us to let us know we could access the cottage early for example). Overall I would stay again due to the stunning location, parking and room for two families, but I've stayed in nicer and more comfortable houses.
