Meadow View is a well-regarded cottage in Anglesey, praised for its cleanliness, prime location near the beach, and comfortable amenities. Guests appreciate the property's well-equipped nature, proximity to local shops and eateries, and the inclusion of a hot tub. While some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several reviews mentioning it being 'spotless' and 'beautifully clean'. However, a few instances of overlooked details, such as dust on furniture and minor cleanliness oversights, slightly affect the score.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to beaches, local amenities, and the town of Benllech. Guests find it convenient and ideal for exploring Anglesey, contributing to a high score in this category.
Comfort is well-received with mentions of comfortable beds and a homely feel. Some concerns about the practicality of furniture and lack of storage space in bedrooms slightly reduce the score.
Facilities like the hot tub and log burner are appreciated, but several reviews cite maintenance issues such as plumbing and electrical concerns, and suggestions for additional kitchenware and practical items. These factors lead to a good but not excellent score.
Guests mention thoughtful touches like the provision of dressing gowns for the hot tub and welcome drinks. However, as these gifts are not consistently referenced and their provision cannot be guaranteed, the score reflects this variability.

The location was great. On site parking very handy. The hot tub was fab. Would book again. There were a few things that need mentioning around safety - the kitchen tap needed some attention. We lit the fire one evening - it smelt very unpleasant - needs checking. Overall the property needs some TLC / maintenance.

Main reason we booked was due to it having an electric charger however this did not work and when we read the guest book this was flagged as an issue back in June. On Arrival we checked the back garden to ensure it was secure for our dog to find it full of dog poo from the last guests. Cupboards in the kitchen had not been cleaned nor had living room table which was very dusty and a few other areas in the property. The house Is definitely in need of some TLC as the handrail on the stairs was loose as well as the kitchen tab. Overall great location just the cleanliness that let it down
Nicola
The property was very clean and had great facilities. The house does need some TLC , the beds were like camp beds, the tiles in the bathroom with the bath were loose and wobbly . The door strip looks like itâs been eaten between the kitchen and entrance. The roof over the hot tub drips when raining. Not enough outside seating covers if there were a family staying. Other than the above itâs a great place to stay.
