The property's character and peaceful environment are consistently praised, though some mention the dated decor and lack of Wi-Fi.

The property is repeatedly described as very clean, with good quality bedding, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its peace, quiet, and wildlife, making it an exceptional retreat for guests looking to escape the hustle and bustle.

The accommodation is spacious and can be made cosy, but some guests noted the beds were a bit small and had soft mattresses, suggesting room for improvement in comfort.

We have stayed here twice and really like the location for the wildlife. We saw red squirrels, bats and heard an owl. The accommodation and bedding is clean and good quality and practical. If you want to escape from WiFi and the modern world this is the place. It’s a big property but can be made cosy too.

We had a lovely, relaxing time staying in this large farmhouse. The secluded grounds offered many opportunities to see the local wildlife, including red squirrels, toads, butterflies and bats. The big table for playing games, a piano, shelves full of books and a tabletennis table were all big pluses - and they also meant we didn't miss WiFi at all. We enjoyed visiting Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey Seazoo (slightly expensive), motor museum, Penrhyn Castle and garden, and Stone Science - all within 1/2 an hour to an hour's drive from Cae Ocyn.
