The large bay attracts a huge number of waterfowl and wading birds, including shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers and dunlin. Only 6 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris which boasts a 13th century moated castle, excellent shops, pubs, restaurants, bistros and museums, as well as a golf course and exciting pleasure boat and sea fishing trips. The accommodation is excellent. Its position provides great opportunities to explore by foot or car this part of Anglesey. The house is fully equipped with high quality fittings in kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Our mattress was so comfortable. Fabulous power shower in en-suite. Outstanding views. Some minor cosmetic issues but nothing to spoil our stay. Yes the track is rough but perfectly easy to navigate with our standard BMW tourer. Heartily recommend it to those wanting a quieter time on holiday.

Really enjoyed our stay. Glad to see the slightly rotten patio has been replaced with a nice new composite one. Lovely house, very clean. It's in a remote location with incredible views and so peaceful Only two things I could say need to be looked at. Firstly a gate needs to be installed across the entrance to the cess pit area just to stop nosey dogs or children going in. The dishwasher tablet dispenser doesn't work.poperly but I got around that by just placing the tablet at the bottom of the washer before starting it. The lane to.the house as other have said needs to mentioned. If you have a low car it's needs to driven down with a great deal of caution. My Alfo Mito had few scrapes before we learned how to navigate it. Any MPV should be fine. Overall though we would love to stay again in the future.
