Pant-Y-Llyn House sleeping up to 12 guests

With sea views from all front windows this spacious house on Holy Island in Angelsey is just a stones throw from a superb sandy beach.
Just across the road from a superb, sheltered sandy beach, S22084 is set off the west coast of Anglesey on beautiful Holy Island, often known as Mam Cymru – the Mother of Wales. With sea views from all front windows, this splendid and very spacious house has been very comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated and enjoys shared use of a large, lawned, south-east-facing garden. With its stripped-pine floors in many rooms, elegant cast-iron fireplaces, and enormous dining-room table, this is an ideal property for family gatherings. Just across the road, Trearddur Bay is an ideal swimming spot and is popular with divers for the clearness of the water, and surfers for the big rolling waves which sweep in when the wind is westerly.
Just 2 miles away, Holyhead, the largest town in Anglesey, has a Roman fortress, a church dating back 14 centuries, and for those wishing to go further afield, the century-old harbour, with its massive breakwater, offers day-trips to Ireland. Popular with visitors are the nearby tiny South Stack lighthouse island, with its cliff-top rspb bird sanctuary, and Holyhead Mountain, which affords splendid views of the Isle of Man, Ireland and the Snowdonia mountains in clear weather. Valley (4 miles) has a charming village shopping complex.
Within easy driving distance are Beaumaris, with castle and restored Gaol, and the Snowdonia National Park – north Wales’ crowning glory, a tightly packed bundle of soaring cliff faces, jagged peaks and plunging waterfalls. Menai Bridge 20 miles. The university town of Bangor, 24 miles, is home to a cathedral boasting the longest continuous use of any cathedral in Britain, plus a museum and art gallery. Penrhyn Castle is a luxurious Norman fancy with a large private painting collection and Industrial Railway Museum in the grounds. Fishing, riding and golf locally. Shop ¼ mile.

    Clare – 2 Oct 2018
"We were very disappointed to be misled by the photograph that showed this property to be on or next to the beach. When we arrived with our children and dogs we were shocked to be on a main road and sharing a drive and garden with a house that is directly attached next door. We were not directly next to the beach at all.The road was extremely busy and the double gate was not child or dog friendly. This ruined our break away and we wouldn’t return. The neighbours joined onto back of house left their back door open which was directly by the shared garden, one of our little dogs ran in and she was really snotty about it, making it awkward. In fact it was very awkward sharing the garden as they were out there as well. The parking was horrendous, one way in and having to all park at different angles so back neighbours could get out.The beach was dog friendly after the 1st of October. I booked this holiday as I am registered disabled and can’t walk very far, to see on arrival the beach was across a main road and not very accessible was heartbreaking for me.I wanted to leave there and then but because we had family coming to meet us I had to stay."

"Brilliant house, so much room. All the rooms are great, bedrooms and bathrooms are all good too. Large garden and lots of parking.Small issue with the dishwasher, think it needs a service, but apart from that it is a great family get away house, children and pet friendly."

"The house and garden are a great size, the house is very well equipped with everything you need.We felt the house needs a little tlc !!!! The sofas are grubby and the springs have gone they need replacing, also the carpets on stairs and landing need a good clean if not replacing. One of the bedrooms had a damp patch with mold right above where the cot is placed, needless to say the baby did not sleep on that bedroom. The location is perfect 1minute from a beautiful little bay ( the grandchildren thought they had their own private beach) the large beach 3 minutes away. There are restaurants within a couple of minutes walk and where all child friendly and food good."

"We all enjoyed Panty Lyn House very much. It is a great party house, very spacious and comfortable and enjoyed by us all. The house made my husbands 70th birthday celebrations very special. The garden was great and enjoyed by the children very much. Also the proximity to the beach was fantastic enabling us all to enjoy it day and evening."

"The gate onto the road wasn't secure for small dogs as they can get through it or under itWe had trouble finding the cottage as the postcode sent us to trearddur road and no mention was made of ravens point road in the address."
