Beautiful home, stunning views, lovely surroundings. The owners are so kind and can’t do enough for you, they were there to help answer any questions or assist in anything we needed. We felt very comfortable and happy there. We would absolutely return! The Christmas decorations are such a lovely touch and made for lovely memories. My only suggestions are very minor and really just personal taste. I would recommend more lamps to create that cosy lighting and maybe another tree in the smaller lounge as we did tend to use that one more. The hot tub box of goodies was also a very welcome touch. Truly a lovely home and experience. Thank you Green Castle!

Green Castle Cottage offers the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. Nestled in peaceful woodland, it feels wonderfully remote, yet it’s only a short drive from Carmarthen. The setting is idyllic with sweeping views, tranquil walks, and skies so clear you can lose yourself in the stars. The accommodation is thoughtfully arranged. Larger rooms are spacious and well-equipped, ideal for longer stays, while the smaller rooms are simple but perfectly fine for a solo guest over a few days. The kitchen has everything you need, and the welcome pack , milk, biscuits, and a starter supply of logs — is a lovely touch. On chilly evenings, the fire is a real highlight, with extra logs available from the owner at prices better than the supermarkets. I would say one of the only things lacking is a washing machine, but this can be overcome by utilising the local laundrette or revolution machine. What truly sets this cottage apart are the unique features: the hot tub overlooking the countryside, and the castle in the garden which are both unforgettable. Within a 30‑minute drive, you’ll find plenty to explore, including dog‑friendly pubs and Carmarthen itself, which is welcoming to four‑legged visitors. All in all, Green Castle Cottage is a place to relax, recharge, and enjoy the best of Carmarthenshire. I would highly recommend it, and extend my thanks to Gethyn for being such a fantastic host.
