The cottage's cleanliness, comfort, and facilities receive positive remarks, with special mentions of the fresh eggs and the games room, although there are some minor maintenance issues noted.
The cottage is generally described as clean and well-presented. However, a few guests noted some dusty areas and a full bathroom bin upon arrival, suggesting room for improvement in thoroughness.

Facilities like the hot tub and games room are highlights, though some maintenance issues are reported, such as a broken washing machine and the need for better upkeep in the games room. The hot tub cleanliness was a concern for some after multiple uses.
The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, with mentions of a welcome package and fresh eggs. While these gestures are appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed.

Negatives- The games room was a barn where birds could enter and there was bird droppings all over the pool table and other games tables. The hot tub was not accessible for a wheelchair user and the steps did not have a handrail making it challenging for users with poor balance and mobility. Worst of all the property run out of gas on Tuesday morning and was not refilled until Thursday morning, meaning 2 full days without heating, hot water and gas hob/oven was unusable, we were told this was not the ownerâs fault and were given a meal from the pub as compensation which in our opinion does not equate to 2 days without basic facilities.

The house is well furnished and comfortable. The hot tub is great fun and the bed rooms are lovely. We had plenty of space and came home very happy. The chickens and dogs were very friendly (not in an overwhelming way.) and made us feel just as welcome as the owners. The welcome booklet was filled with all the info we needed plus lots of practical information about the local areas which really helped us. We would be very happy to stay there again.

Ripped settee and pouffee. Arrived and broken washing machine, not replaced until mid holiday. Z bed frame full of dust. Backdoor lock broken in fairness when we reported it they did offer to come over but we had had enough at this point.. Tumble dryer didnât work. Shed for rubbish was not maintained annd there was half opened bags of rubbish everywhere .Apart from that it was fine.
