Take in the views of the beautiful countryside or get out and explore some of it! You can walk from the farm through fields and public footpath to the village of Cwmdu. By car there is plenty more to see and do. You’ll find local cycle trails within a short drive – plus there’s bicycle storage at the cottage.
Llandeilo is a lovely town with boutique shops and eateries. Visit Dinefwr Castle or Newton House for some local history. For a more active day - Pembrey Country Park is a great family day out with activities like horse riding, tobogganing and even a dry ski slope!
This lovely, converted barn is charming, the contemporary interior compliments the original character of the property. Kick off your walking boots in the impressive entrance hallway, then head through to the heart of the home – the stunning living room! This double height room with exposed beams is really something, with a door opening to the patio area you can take in the beautiful views of the hills… or cosy up with the log burner going! Go through from here to the kitchen-diner where you’ll find dining space for 6 in the fully equipped kitchen – plus a utility room and toilet. The living room also leads to bedrooms at either end of the property. Firstly, the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, then the opposite side has a further double bedroom upstairs and a ground floor twin bedroom.

The cottage was in a beautiful setting, quiet and relaxing. It is quite remote, which suited us.

Another lovely stay at Barn Cottage. This was our third visit. The peace and tranquility are perfect. Cottage works perfectly for us and two adults children plus Labrodor! Garden safely enclosed for the dog. So much to do in the area and within 45 drive. Due to narrow country lanes rember to look at time to location not distance. Cottage has always been spotlessly clean and all the facilities you could want.
