Had lovely break at Y Bythwyn. It's a beautiful cottage, very private, well-appointed and just perfect for two plus a dog!

We stayed for a week in the cottage/barn. The surroundings were very quiet and rural. Great views from the full glas fronted cottage over the Black Mountains. We walked from the cottage in the local hills, acros fields, woods and forests. Lots of flora, fauna and wild life. Also an amazing amount for different fungi in the woods. Spectacular views especial on a walk up from Lyn y Fan Fach in the Brecons! We had dry weather and on some nights clear skies to view the Milky way. It is a emote location so a car is a must if you're wanting to visiting some of the sights and towns around the area. Well worth the stay and would definitely consider going back for another quiet and relaxing break.
