The popular village of Pembrey offers pubs and a shop, both of which are within a short walk, so why not stock up on essentials, or enjoy a drink before venturing back to your welcoming cottage. The village is ideally placed for exploring the stunning Gower Peninsula, as well as the Pembrey Country Park, from where miles of sandy beaches and acres of forestry can be explored. You’re just over half an hour away from diverse landscapes of the sandy beaches of Pembrokeshire and the Brecon Beacons in Mid Wales, plus the whole area is bordered with the Millennium Coastal Path, which opens up numerous outdoor activities for visitors to enjoy. The small village of Pembrey is situated on the main road between Carmarthen and Llanelli. The village has a shop, Post Office, pottery shop and pubs. Close by is the Pembrey Country Park, which offers parkland and sandy beaches, plus the Millennium Cycle Path runs all along the coastline.
