There’s also a well-equipped kitchen with dining area and a separate sitting room, giving you plenty of space to relax in, or perhaps retreat and unwind with a glass of something cool in the conservatory. Outside, you can sit on the patio and enjoy an early evening drink, whilst planning the adventures for the following day. The River Taf runs through the thriving little town of St Clears and meanders down to Carmarthen Bay passing intriguing towns such as Laugharne with its imposing castle and renowned for its historic resident of Dylan Thomas. Continue along the coast and visit the impressive stretch of Pendine Sands, perfect for your group to while away a few hours. Alternatively head a little further and start to explore the picturesque beaches on the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, peppered with intimate little harbours and great resorts such as Tenby and Saundersfoot. Also within reach are Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Manor House Wildlife Park and the all-weather swimming experience at Blue Lagoon. An ideal base for exploring this area of South Wales.

The small town of St. Clears is set inland between Carmarthen and the coastal resorts of the Pembrokeshire coast. St. Clears hosts a variety of festivals and carnivals throughout the year, and has a number of shops, pubs and eateries, and the mound of the 12th century St. Clears Castle can still be seen.
