Bwlchsais is a spacious and well-equipped cottage, ideal for families or groups seeking privacy and a peaceful countryside retreat. Guests praise its beautiful rural setting, comfortable bedrooms, and excellent amenities such as the hot tub and AGA. The property manager is noted for being responsive and helpful. While some guests mention minor maintenance and cleanliness issues, the overall experience is positive, with many highlighting the property's charm, wildlife sightings, and suitability as a base for exploring Pembrokeshire.

Most guests found the property clean and well-presented, though several reviews mention areas needing deeper cleaning, such as dusty surfaces, crumbs, and cobwebs. A few guests felt the floors and some utensils could be cleaner, but overall standards are generally good.

The cottage's rural, secluded location is highly praised for its tranquillity and beautiful countryside views. Its central position in Pembrokeshire makes it convenient for exploring local attractions and beaches, though the remoteness may not suit everyone.

The house is well-equipped with modern amenities, including a hot tub, AGA, and entertainment options. Some guests experienced minor issues with heating, hot tub maintenance, and occasional broken items, but these were generally addressed promptly by the property manager.

Some guests appreciated welcome packs and small touches like hand wash and condiments, though these are not guaranteed and were noted as inconsistent between stays. Suggestions were made for more consistent provision of essentials.

We have just returned from staying at Bwlchsais and had the best week. We are a family of 5 with three late teens/early adults and the house was plenty big enough for us. It was such a spacious house with large kitchen/dining area and huge living room with lots of parking space. I hadn't used an Aga before so that was an experience but easy once I got used to it and really handy to have a dishwasher and washer/dryer. I was so looking forward to using the hottub but it was just too hot that week. The location is a little remote so may not suit everyone but Cardigan was about 20 minutes away and we had day trips to Tenby, St David and Pembroke easily in 45 minutes. There's a local fish &chip shop, kebab house and pub in the village with a Morrisons for everyday items. The house isn't that easy to locate from the road - look out for two car registration plates with the wording "Bwlchasais" and a long, gravel driveway. The property manager was super helpful and responded very quickly to my whatsapp messages so we would highly recommend this property.

Fabulous, clean isolated farmhouse with four large comfortable bedrooms and three generous bathrooms to a high standard. The large kitchen diner and living room offered plenty of space for all and the added bonus of the outside hot tub was a real treat which we used several times. The bed linen and large, fluffy towels were of high standard but I feel all occupants should be given a bath towel and a hand towel. Hand three hand towels were only in the bathrooms. The farmhouse is down an unmade track which was a little overgrown and difficult to find as the yellow signs were covered with foliage. A quick phone call to Gareth put us on the right track but don't follow the postcode as it will take you to another farmhouse. Use PIN map details instead. Don't expect cut lawns as you are in the country and the surrounding outbuildings are a little rundown and the grass high, but this leads to the farmhouses charm. You are surrounded by fields with wonderful views that you are free to walk in and it was great to watch the wildlife and be visited by the local fox most evenings. The Aga has a dial inside the bottom left hand oven door which youwill have to set to 6 and leave for at least 1-2 hours to heat up before you can cook anything but there is a combi microwave oven also for use. There was plenty of hand wash, cleaning cloths, dishwasher tablets etc and tea, coffee, sugar and condiments but you will have to take your own bread, milk etc to get you started.Bwlchsais is the perfect location to be able to visit all south west attractions and the small town of Narberth has a great range of independant shops selling high quality food and goods. Try out the Tapas deli/restaurant (Ultracomida). Huge range of cheeses and fabulous restaurant food. You wont be disappointed but expect to sit around large tables next to other people.Overall our weeks holiday went by too quickly and we would not hesitate to recommend Bwlchsais to friends and family.

Thank you so much for our stay here, we had the best time! It was a very private location and perfect for families enjoying a getaway in the countryside. There was a slight issue with the hot tub which was rectified very quickly and we made use of it, it was lovely! The rooms are spacious and well decorated…. We loved the separate little snug with the sofa for some quiet time if it was needed. We even spotted a barn owl and some bats. Gareth was lovely and helpful and we hope to come back again soon!
