What our customers say about their holidays

  • Mr Hunt - Verified booking

We’ve just returned from a blissful stay at our cottage, and it was exactly the break we needed. Tucked away in the countryside, the cottage had all the charm and comfort we hoped for, and the star of the show was undoubtedly the hot tub. We spent hours relaxing in it, unwinding under the night sky – it was very relaxing. The cottage itself was cosy and well-appointed, with everything on hand to make our stay comfortable. A lovely touch from the owner was the welcome treats of sausage rolls and Welsh cakes – the Welsh cakes, in particular, were delicious! The cottage was like a home away from home. During our stay, we made the most of the local attractions. We took a trip to Tenby beach, which was about an hour away, and it was well worth the drive for a bit of seaside fun. The children absolutely loved Heatherton World of Activities – they had a blast! We also visited Cardigan Castle, where we were pleasantly surprised to find free entry, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed afternoon exploring the historic grounds. What really made the visit special was the sense of peace and quiet – it felt like a true escape from the everyday rush. The hot tub was spotless and well-maintained, making it a joy to use. There’s nothing quite like soaking in warm, bubbling water while surrounded by nature; it was just what we needed to recharge our batteries. All in all, it was a fantastic getaway that left us feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Very friendly and approachable owners. Quiet location, maybe a little too remote for some especially out of tourist season as a lot of places that are nearby (with 10-20miles) are closed. Warm property with comfortable beds and furniture. The hot tub was a nice bonus and was lovely to rest in after a long walk on a cold day. Wi-Fi was a struggle throughout the stay which made searching for activities etc difficult. Work was being done on the mast and we were made aware that there may be problems. hopefully will be back up and running properly soon. The dogs enjoyed the grassy area to run around on and were particularly fascinated with the goats. The chickens had an enclosure but seemed to enjoy being free range so we had to check before letting one of our dogs out as she would have made light work of a chicken! All in all, a good stay to explore the countryside. The local pub, the falcon inn, was a great little pub to take a walk to across the countryside (check opening times before visiting though as only open sporadically through the week) I also left a couple of small items at the property and the owner has kindly sent them to me in the post

Gywnnant is a really comfortable and well equipped holiday house. We stayed here for a week in August and had a lovely holiday. The house was very clean, the kitchen well equipped we really felt at home. The owner had left some lovely welcome treats as well! The house is very rural but also only a short drive from plenty of great places to visit. Good to have a big parking space too, and we were pleased to discover the lanes weren't as narrow as ours in Devon so it was really easy driving around! We managed to get out and explore the area every day despite the weather! The hot tub was amazing and such a nice thing to come back to after a busy day. We would definitely recommend this gorgeous house for a holiday. Thank you!

  • Mrs Holtschke - Verified booking

A lovely located cottage for a quiet, relaxing break. Stunning countryside at your finger tips for stunning views and walks. The hot tub is a great feature and is very relaxing. The hot tub is cleaned / checked daily by the host. The hosts are 100% and respond to any questions or queries you may have. Very friendly and helpful. We had two young children in our party and they had travel cots and even a stair gate to make life easier for us as a family . We would love to return here in the future. Thank you and highly recommended.

Gorgeous house in a lovely, peaceful rural location. The decor and cleanliness were first class. We really appreciated the home baked treats when we arrived, as well as tea, coffee, milk and sugar. All the essentials such as washing up liquid, hand soap, tea towels and even dish washer tabs were there too. Very thoughtful! The hot tub is an amazing feature too. There is now a wooden roof/ shelter over it too which is a lovely extra! Very happy with our holiday and I would definitely stay again!
