Come and enjoy Llanfair Hill Cottage set within the beautiful rolling Ceredigion countryside on the owners’ small holding near the small village of Gorsgoch. This delightful cottage was once the milking parlour for a busy working farm and has been fully renovated to a very good standard throughout in 2022 and provides a perfect base for couples to enjoy this scenic area, the owners small holding is spread over 23 acres of meadows which is ideal to exercise your furry friends, stabling for your horse is also available and can be arranged at cost directly with the owner where stables paddock, arena and jumps are available, you can also enjoy lots of footpaths and bridleways from your doorstep.
Enjoy finding beautiful beaches, bays, villages and interesting market towns to visit, this a wonderful base from which to enjoy and explore the fabulous scenery of Ceredigion and the Heritage coastline of Cardigan Bay. The beautiful harbour village of New Quay is only 11 miles away, where you can enjoy not only the beach and boat trips, but an array of shops and eateries.
Llanfair Hill Cottage is nestled adjacent to the owners’ home and is all on one level, the country kitchen is ideal for cooking that special romantic meal or relax in the open plan living and dining room with a good book or snuggle on the sofa with a glass of wine and a good movie. The super kingsize bed can be made into twins and offers flexibility and comfort, your bedroom has been lovingly furnished throughout with quality and comfort in mind. The rainfall walk-in shower is located just off the bedroom.
There are many interesting and beautiful places to visit including the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, just 15 minutes away by car, and the university town of Aberystwyth, with its long promenade and pier, cliff railway, camera obscura and Vale of Rheidol steam railway to Devil’s Bridge. Walkers, cyclists, wildlife enthusiasts, or those who prefer more extreme sports are well catered for, and you can literally lose yourself in the wild undisturbed landscape of hills, mountains, and forests. There are 60 miles of coastal path, and even walking a small section of it is a fantastic way of seeing this beautiful part of west Wales. Beach 11 miles. Pub within 1 mile.

Cannot fault this cottage. Emma and Archie were so welcoming. She thoughtfully left us a lovely welcome pack,which we enjoyed 😉 .It was an excellent base for us to travel around from, it was lovely to come home to a lovely warm ,comfortable cottage each night.We will definitely be back,in fact we never wanted to leave..Thank you to Emma for everything 😊

Property in need of a DEEP CLEAN THROUGHOUT. Peeling and rusting paint, oven and baking trays dirty and stained, ice box in fridge had a tissue wedged to hold door shut due to excessive build up of ice inside. Down the side of fridge there was mould, dirt and cobwebs galore, in fact every light fitting in every room had cobwebs along with huge spiders. The wall down the side of the toilet was also stained with mould, dirt and cobwebs. NO private outdoor space. The garden/patio outside the property was in fact just a concrete yard which was shared not only with the owner and her dog, but by people who have their horses on livery in the stables just through the gate where the patio furniture was positioned. We are VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED and would NOT recommend this property.

too far out from all decent shopping stores plus other amenities speed limits is a nightmare 20 miles an hour in lots of places does affect returning for hol in the area
