There’s also a modern shower room for your convenience, while outside, you can relax in the garden, enjoy al fresco dining with the provided furniture, or gather around the fire pit under the stars.
Situated near Ciliau Aeron and Aberaeron, Myfanwy is perfectly positioned to explore the beauty of the Welsh coast and countryside. In Ciliau Aeron, you can take peaceful strolls through the lush Aeron Valley or visit the stunning Llanerchaeron Estate, a National Trust Georgian villa surrounded by idyllic gardens, a working farm, and scenic woodlands. There are many public bridleways and guests can bring their horses if they wish with prior arrangement with the owner.
In the picturesque harbour town of Aberaeron, just a short drive away, you’ll discover brightly painted Georgian houses lining the harbour. Enjoy freshly caught seafood at one of the excellent local restaurants or sample the town’s famous honey ice cream. Aberaeron is also a hub for coastal walks, offering paths that lead you along the breathtaking Ceredigion coastline. Had a lovely first stay at Myfanwy, I enjoyed a few days of relaxing with the two dogs, perfect space for the dogs, fully enclosed, so safe.Beautiful views, very quiet and a great position to explore all the local beaches. Weather was good, accommodation lovely and as expected, no electric, except usb charging points, which was fine, nice to get away from technology for a little bit. Loved the wood burner, with the stable door open, watching the sun go down, just lovely, thank you! :-)

Booked for a romantic anniversary getaway having read reviews and looked lovely. Wonderful peaceful location and not far to beautiful beaches and woodland hikes. Myfanwy is quaint, quirky and in a beautifully peaceful location. However perhaps it would have been helpful to know there is no mains electricity, just USB charging cables for phone etc. No cooking facilities apart from a camping gaz which was supplied with 2 gas cannisters but used up quickly when boiling kettle outside. Bed was amazingly comfortable and had 4 nights lovely sleep. Proper sized towels would have been appreciated or at least tell visitors to bring their own. Seem to have missed out on the welcome pack including homemade cakes and Prosecco that were mentioned in other Visitor Reviews....(we got a pint of milk, 6 eggs and a packet of cream crackers!) It is a beautiful hidden gem but it would have been even better if we had known about the lack of electricity. Would return one day but more equipped. Thank you however for a peaceful break away to Ceredigion.
