Seamlessly blending traditional charm and modern luxuries, this property in West Wales is a great base from which to explore the coast and countryside. Boasting a traditional wood burner and exposed stone fireplace, rest assured that you’ll be able to relax in comfort at all times of the year. Nearby you can explore the local history at Norwood Gardens and Tea Room (5 miles) where you’ll find a castle upon a hill surrounded by awe-inspiring mountain views around the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Encouraging guests to get cosy, the living room is styled with neutral colours featuring a large warming wood burner and comfortable leather seating. Next door, the kitchen/diner is an elegant space with an exposed stone wall paired with a tasteful country-style kitchen and a dining table seating six. The laundry room is a handy addition, featuring a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as added storage for use during your stay. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, two of which are simply styled with double beds for a good night's rest. The final bedroom is a pretty single bedroom, perfect for a child. The family bathroom completes the layout with both a shower cubicle and a bathtub. Outside, the raised patio area is a brilliant place to sit and watch the world go by with a cup of tea in hand, furnished with a set of rattan furniture so that you can make the most of the far-reaching scenery.
Lovers of plants must visit the National Botanic Garden of Wales (17 miles) to stroll around the oasis of calm between Lord Foster’s Glasshouse and the wider outdoor gardens which span more than 568 acres. Alternatively, if you fancy a change of scenery, the coast is accessible within 20 miles with the beach at Aberporth offering a gently sloped and sheltered sandy bay with rock pools to explore at low tide.
