Just a stone’s throw away lies the picturesque resort of New Quay which features a good selection of cafés, pubs, and restaurants. A trip to the resort would not be complete without a memorable boat ride from the harbour along the dramatic coastline cruising close to rare seabirds, grey seals, and bottlenose dolphins. Away from the resort, the local area has lots to offer with the sandy beaches of Llangrannog, Tresaith, Penbryn and Mwnt just a short drive away. The charming regency town of Aberaeron with its multi-coloured houses and attractive harbour is well worth a visit, as is the university town of Aberystwyth with its wide range of shops, national library, and free museum. Also, here you can take a trip on the picturesque Rheidol Valley Steam Railway to Devils Bridge in the nearby scenic mountains. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub, and restaurant 1 mile.
