Cottage was lovely, no issues with any element of the Cottage, lots of homely touches and nice to read through the previous guests comments to see the owners really do care about their guests. Main downsides were location, but thats not down to the Cottage or owners. Outside areas didnt lend itself to playing catch with a ball for example but was a glorius sun trap. Blurb read there was a pub within a mile, there was an expensive steak house open Friday PM, Saturday and Sunday. We struggled to find things to entertain us (2 adults and 2 teenagers) although the local beaches were very clean and pleasant to visit.

A beautifully renovated farm workshop provides the perfect base for a holiday in mid-Wales: this spacious property is both extremely comfortable and pleasing to the eye. The welcome 'goodies' were much appreciated and our hosts could not have been more supportive. The proximity of both Aberaron and New Quay is an absolute bonus, with the latter providing the richly enjoyed delights of a sandy beach for our three-year old grandson. We were blessed by a week of glorious sunshine, so what could be better?

Frondeg Bach is a beautiful, spacious cottage in quiet countryside. It is on a B road which was very quiet and we found it easily following Google maps. There are steps up from the parking area so those less mobile need to be aware. The cottage was very comfortable with lovely furnishings and all the rooms were spacious and airy. It is well kitted out and we appreciated the welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk (a small jug as opposed to a bottle) as well as wine and biscuits. We always go well prepared with the basics so milk was not an issue for us.The outside area was lovely with a 2 covered areas - a long patio adjoining the cottage (a real suntrap in the afternoon/evening with table and chairs) and a large wooden gazebo with table and chairs opposite the cottage (very welcome in the heatwave). The cottage was lovely and cool too as the walls are thick. It was easy to get to the coast (8 miles) and further afield on good roads and we enjoyed exploring the area.If you are looking for a cottage to get away from it all and enjoy peace and quiet this is one for you.
