Frondeg Bach is a beautiful, spacious cottage in quiet countryside. It is on a B road which was very quiet and we found it easily following Google maps. There are steps up from the parking area so those less mobile need to be aware. The cottage was very comfortable with lovely furnishings and all the rooms were spacious and airy. It is well kitted out and we appreciated the welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk (a small jug as opposed to a bottle) as well as wine and biscuits. We always go well prepared with the basics so milk was not an issue for us.The outside area was lovely with a 2 covered areas - a long patio adjoining the cottage (a real suntrap in the afternoon/evening with table and chairs) and a large wooden gazebo with table and chairs opposite the cottage (very welcome in the heatwave). The cottage was lovely and cool too as the walls are thick. It was easy to get to the coast (8 miles) and further afield on good roads and we enjoyed exploring the area.If you are looking for a cottage to get away from it all and enjoy peace and quiet this is one for you.

Some difficulty in finding the property having arrived at Sat Nav " destination"not easily recognised sign on entrance and supplied directions outdated.Initial approach to the property not inviting due outbuildings in somewhat need of attention.Once at the property it was found to be excellent and provided everything wecould have wanted and we felt very much at home.Location ideal for those wanting to discover the beauty of the Welsh countryside.
