Guests say

Guests consistently praise Bwthyn Y Bugail for its peaceful and beautiful location, comfort, and welcoming hosts. The cottage offers fantastic views, a warm atmosphere with a fireplace and heated floors, and is well-equipped for a relaxing stay. It's conveniently located near the M4, yet remains quiet and secluded. Some minor maintenance issues are noted, but they do not detract from the overall positive experience.

The property is generally clean with spacious areas. However, a few guests mentioned small amounts of dust, hairs on the shower floor, and some wear and tear. These minor issues slightly affected the overall impression of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to nature and walking paths. It is also conveniently close to the M4, making it accessible while still offering a rural retreat.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, highlighting the warm welcome, heated floors, and cosy fireplace. The property provides a peaceful atmosphere that contributes to a comfortable stay.

The cottage is well-equipped with books, DVDs, board games, and kitchen utensils. However, some guests missed having certain items like salt and pepper, more baking trays, and shower mats. A leaky shower was also mentioned.

While guests appreciate the warm hospitality and mention receiving fresh milk, there are not enough references to gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

This cottage was amazing. The views, the fireplace and heated floors, everything overall was just perfect. They also had lots of books and dvds to choose from and also board games which was a bonus. Very friendly hosts, and you even get some fresh milk. Definitely planning to come back.

We had a very warm welcome from Sue and Caitlin who helped us with questions about the area. The accommodation was fantastic and the location was perfect for us as we wanted a peaceful stay but we were within an hours drive of some fantastic walks. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and next time we may even let our boys come along! Haha!
