Llandremor Fawr Cottage is set within 340 acres of the owner’s home and working farm. It stands and is detached and surrounded by hills and countryside offering a comfortable base from which to explore the area. There is so much to see and do in south west Wales. Wonderful walks are available from the doorstep or visit the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Black Mountains. For stunning beaches visit the Gower Peninsula, Britain’s first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can enjoy long stretches of golden sands, hidden coves and cliff top walks. Some attractions include the National Showcaves, the National Botanical Gardens and Aberglasney Gardens. Afan Forest Park is home to five world-class trails for the mountain biking enthusiasts. Fun family day trips could include Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo or Oakwood Theme Park. Swansea has many bars, restaurants and shops and Cardiff, the bustling capital city of Wales, is well worth a visit with its castle, museum and Millennium Stadium.

We had an amazing time at Llandremor Fawr Cottage. Having booked a long time before arriving, we'd forgotten the cottage was on a working farm which was an absolute hit with our three children. Everything was as described, the cottage was clean and the welcome pack was a particular treat. Justine (the owner) was friendly and helpful - and let us wander around the farm, help out with odd jobs and watch the pigs being fed. The only downside is the shower - it's hot but little more than a trickle. Installing a shower cubicle would be a real plus. That being said, we still plan to return at some point in the future as the rest of the place was so good.

We absolutely loved staying here, we wish we had stayed for longer and will definitely be returning!The family were very friendly, there is a lot of land around the property and my kids loved to walk around, see the farm and the animals - especially Gary the kitten!!! 😍There is abit of a tricky road driving up to the farm, but driven carefully it isn't a problem. It really gives, and sets the scene for a rural Welsh farm in the valleys 🤩There are plenty of locations within a short drive, castles, abbies, waterfalls, walks, beaches, we also went to the showcaves - which was amazing! We also loved the local milk, supplied in the cottage - we chose to get a refill, where we found an amazing milk/milkshake vending machine 😋😋The cottage itself was wonderful, clean and well presented. A wonderful welcoming pack, with lots of great information. The beds were comfortable and bedding was lovely. We were told they had new WiFi, which worked perfectly. (Small notes is have like to have known prior to visit, they do supply hairdryers, but not toilet roll)

The cottage was beautiful inside and out. Very well equipped and immaculate. The farm was stunning as were the views and we were able to walk freely among the farm and animals. The family that farm there were all lovely. They took me and my daughter to see all the animals and we learned a lot about them and farming. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone. We will definitely be booking again for next year. Thank you for a great week!
