Middleton Hall offers a spacious, comfortable stay in a fantastic location close to Rhossili beach and scenic coastal walks. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and dog-friendly environment. The property’s character and original features are often praised, as is the warm welcome from the owner. While some areas could benefit from deeper cleaning and modernisation, most guests enjoyed their stay and found the cottage to be excellent value for money.
Several guests found the main areas clean and comfortable, but a number mentioned the need for a deeper clean in some spots, with cobwebs, dust, and some bathroom and kitchen areas requiring more attention.
The location is consistently praised, with easy access to beautiful beaches, coastal paths, and local attractions. Guests loved being able to walk to Worm’s Head and Rhossili Bay directly from the property.
Most guests found the cottage spacious, warm, and comfortable, with good beds and a homely feel. A few minor issues with mattresses and tired decor were noted but did not detract significantly from overall comfort.
The cottage is well equipped, with a good kitchen and amenities, but some maintenance issues were reported, such as an out-of-use Aga, sticking doors, and areas needing modernisation. Facilities generally met guests’ needs.

Middleton Hall in the perfect location for those who love the beach, situated on the Gower Peninsula, overlooking Worm’s Head, a short distance from the owners working farm. This lovely, detached property is ideal for families and groups looking to explore the beautiful coastline, and is within walking distance of the local pub and restaurant. This characterful, old farmhouse has plenty to offer for all size groups and plenty of room for your pets.
Three fabulous local beaches can be found nearby including Llangenith beach, Fall Bay and Three Cliffs Bay. There are also lots of activities such as surfing to be had on these beaches, or simply just relax in the sunshine. There is an archery and falconry centre just 6 miles from the property where you can hold and feed the various birds they have there. Worms Head is a great adventure, and part of the Wales Coastal Path, where you can walk over the cliffs and rocks with fabulous views from the top, over to parts of the Devon coast on a clear day. You may also be able to spot some seals too, but be sure to be back before the tide comes in. After a long day of exploring all the area has to offer, come back to the property sit in the enclosed garden with the barbecue lit and watch the sunset over the sea. Beach 1 mile. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
