We had a lovely holiday in Mumbles. The flat is well equiped and was clean and tidy on arrival. The description said welcome pack but there was no welcome pack.Although there is free parking in the streets around the flat, you can only park for 3 hours at a time between 8am and 8pm and then the car has to be moved. Unless you want to pay for one of the car parks but at £17 per day is expensive. So fine if you are out and about sightseeing all day, but irritating if you want a day exploring Mumbles itself. There are so many great places to visit in the locality and the flat is well served as a base for exploring.Lots of lovely restaurants and bars within walking distance and views from the flat out to the beach front are lovely. This would be better if someone cleaned the front window however.Overall some minor irritations but this did not spoil the beauty of the location and a great holiday.

Between a rock and a wet place! This property is beautifully appointed and did a glorious job of insulating us from the June 2026 heatwave, which was very lucky for us and little short of a miracle. However, that coolness did come at a price. I don't think the property has a damp-proofing course. The rear of the property, with cold floors due to the adjacent rock face (I think) suffered from condensation of the humid air, so the dining room and kitchen floors were slick and there was no access to a mop or any kitchen roll etc provided. No-one slipped over but I half-slipped about 5 times, which was a bit hairy. The lino in the bathroom is not fully sealed to the edges and there is no powered extractor fan, so, is prone to mould (but only in the shower sealant, to be fair). Using the handbasin in the bathroom resulted in a "damp dog" type of a smell, so, there's possibly a leak there somewhere. It had Hive-controlled gas central heating and that worked very quickly, so we were able to dry wet towels that way. It might be at other times of year when the heating is on regularly that the damp is not apparent at all. It was a lovely place but quite slippery on the solid floors. Noise from the road was not a problem as the lounge is at the front, so the bedrooms aren't affected by any traffic sounds. It had a lovely decking area at the back which caught the sun and breeze despite being compact and was very relaxing. Kind thanks for all the thoughtful details and beautiful kitchen.
