Follow the slate flooring through the abode and into the open-plan living space, where a rustic woodburning stove takes centre stage in the sitting area, enticing you to kick off your shoes and enjoy a moment of peace as a DVD plays on the screen.

Make use of the collection of amenities in the kitchen to rustle up a hearty meal for your loved ones before gathering together at the dining table to indulge; in the summer months, make mealtimes an alfresco affair and tuck-into the fruits of your labour with a seat on the decking. At the end of an action-packed day, pour in the bubbles and escape into the pages of a good book with a blissful soak in the stylish family bathroom, or if you'd prefer, utilise the rainfall shower head for a quick rinse. For bird enthusiasts Cwm Ivy offers two bird hides for observing the many different birds who are attracted to this rich salt marsh.

For those wanting to access a beach by car, Llangennith Beach offers a café and surfing opportunities, whilst Broughton Beach offers yet more wide expanses of sand and cliff top coastal walks.
