Sleeping eight guests, the four-bedroom retreat has an enticing interior, with a wood burner for cosy winter evenings in together, and a courtyard garden for summer dining. The three-storey house is ideal for reaching shops and eateries and is the perfect place to return to after days out on the beach and long walks across the picturesque Gower Peninsula.

Wander inside to find light-filled accommodation with a chic finish. Head into the lounge to stoke up the wood burner, watch the Smart TV and catch up with each other at the end of the day. The lounge/kitchen/diner is also a great social space. Here, you can pull back the glass doors to the garden and unwind as you enjoy the fresh air. Whip up tasty meals with the fresh produce you have bought in Mumbles, then gather around the table. A utility space, cloakroom and WC are also located downstairs. Climb the stairs to the first floor to discover three of your bedrooms. These include two king-size and a bunk bedroom with a full-size single bed above a double. There is also a family bathroom at this level. Venture on up to the top floor to a double bedroom, with an en-suite shower room and Smart TV. Have breakfast in the courtyard on sunny mornings and linger out here over a bottle of wine as the sun sets.

Enjoy pottering in the trendy boutiques, galleries and independent shops of Mumbles. Buy an ice cream or fish and chips and wander out along the pier. Head into Swansea, 4.5 miles away, to find high-street shops and an array of eateries. Plan trips to the beautiful Gower beaches, including Caswell Bay, 1.5 miles away.

      This is a beautifully and thoughtfully restored house. It is very comfortable with every possible interior amenity any reasonable person should expect. The safe parking behind the house is accessible only with great care. If your vehicle is larger than a medium sized car beware. Street parking is not readily available, the road outside needs residents' permits. The location is ideal both for access to Mumbles and Swansea and as a base for exploring the South Wales coast and countryside.

      Lovely, clean, well maintained accommodation. Close to all amenities (M+S food hall just round the corner). Beautifully warm and cosy with underfloor heating downstairs. Beds very comfy with lovely cotton sheets and cosy duvets.
