Described as ‘The supermodel of British beaches’ by The Independent and voted the ‘best picnic spot’, it’s easy to see why. Stroll across the bay at low tide or walk to Worms Head (just watch the tide!). It’s also a popular surfing beach and a great spot for bird watching, so don’t forget the binoculars. There’s a steep walk down to the dog friendly beach but it’s well worth the climb if you’re able. The property was exactly what we wanted. Comfortable, clean, and well appointed with an amazing sea view from the rear garden. We had a dog with us and as the place is dog friendly it was very easy to relax and enjoy our surroundings.

Easy booking and payment system. Fixtures and fittings very dated, and when stripping beds as we had been asked by cleaning company, duvets and pillows very stained. No provision for recycling and rubbish not collected during our stay. Having to take rubbish and recycling etc. for seven home or to Swansea was difficult due to lack of space in car! I understand that recycling is collected on different weeks and would have put out previous tenants recycling on due day. The location of cottage was excellent and the weather very good so we were out all day, and just used the bungalow as a base.
