  We had a lovely family holiday in Caemor. Although the house really is rural and not even a village store in walking distance we loved being remote with beautiful views and beach and coastal paths right on the doorstep. The configuration of rooms is perfect, great to have the open plan dining area next to the kitchen, good for socialising and preparing meals together. Well equipped with plenty of pans, cutlery etc which as a party of 9 was helpful. Also for once in a rental property decent knives (we love to cook together so important for us) A couple of niggles…..plastic chopping boards that can go in the d/washer would be useful and more hygienic and a Nespresso machine (we took our own!) Nearly all the pegs are broken, frustrating when you cant hang beach towels/wet suits on the line. Also the rubbish recycling instructions are frustrating: different types of rubbish are collected fortnightly so the guests before us had left full recycling bags but the guide book says you must take away any left rubbish or there could be a charge. Even when I phoned the helpline it was not clear so our rubbish went in the NT dumpster in the car park……not very environmentally friendly but I was not going to take 4 black sacks of household rubbish all the way home to Sussex. Perhaps providing some kind of bin shed next to the garage would be helpful. Anyhow apart from that all 6 grown ups, 3 children and 3 dogs had a great time.

  We originally booked for 4 adults and 2 dogs to stay but due to unforeseen circumstances there were only 2 adults for the whole week, however the cottage is easily spacious enough for more people, we didn't even go in two of the bedrooms, and used one as a dressing room only. The cottage was very clean, and the hive heating system kept it cosy even though it is spacious. The living room is comfortable, but not overcrowded with lots of 'stuff' which is perfect for a holiday cottage. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher that we didn't use but would be great for bigger groups, and a washing machine that again, we didn't need to use but would be good for families. We only used the upstairs shower, which is fantastic, but it's great that the cottage has two bathrooms for bigger groups, and the bath was heaven. Plenty of hot water and lovely white towels. The bed we slept in (king size) was really comfortable. We would definitely recommend the cottage, and hope to return soon.

  Breathtaking location and views. Sun room and bedrooms with huge windows and spectacular view of beach and sunset and sheep fields and beautiful hills. Amazing privacy with huge lawns around. Very large inside with three lounge areas and two dining tables. Kitchen great size for cooking. We lived in sun room though in evenings. Porch really useful for all the Sandy beach things. Closeness to the beach brilliant. We all loved it. Didn’t want to leave. Only negative was that we all used one shower as the other two showers one was weak and the other needed a larger screen as water sprayed over floor. Returning next year. Would return this year but fully booked

  Value for money - there has been a monumental price hike over the last two years yet only one set of bed linen to last two weeks, and two toilet rolls, one tea towel and one bin bag. Cleanliness - downstairs floors hoovered but not wiped, filthy drain hole in downstairs shower underneath the chrome cover meant the bathroom smelt. Filter in dishwasher clogged with grease (inner filter broken). Skirting boards dusty, Repairs needed - inbuilt plug in the upstairs bathroom sink does not seal properly and leaks. Downstairs kitchen window by dishwasher doesn't latch properly so remains slightly ajar

  Easy booking and payment system. Fixtures and fittings very dated, and when stripping beds as we had been asked by cleaning company, duvets and pillows very stained. No provision for recycling and rubbish not collected during our stay. Having to take rubbish and recycling etc. for seven home or to Swansea was difficult due to lack of space in car! I understand that recycling is collected on different weeks and would have put out previous tenants recycling on due day. The location of cottage was excellent and the weather very good so we were out all day, and just used the bungalow as a base.
