The Nook is a spacious family-friendly holiday home, located in the village of Llanddulas on the coast of North Wales. With plenty of bedrooms to choose from and a spacious ground-floor, this cottage is the ideal location for large family or groups of seven. After a day spent on the beach, come home to the open plan living/dining area and light the woodburning stove, before cosying up on the sofas and turning on the TV to be entertained with some of your favourite shows.Wander through to the kitchen where you will find all of the necessary appliances to be able to put together a mouth-watering meal to feed your appetite.
There is even a wood burning stove that can be lit to create a relaxing ambiance as you sit around the dining table, exchanging stories from your trip so far. The ground-floor is also home to a handy utility room, where you can wash and dry your clothes. It also has a WC with a hand basin. Take yourself out into the courtyard, where you can spend a warm summers evening playing lawn games on the adjacent meadow, eating good food and having drinks with your nearest and dearest. Head on up the stairs to the first floor, where you will find a twin bedroom, complete with two single beds and room for storing your belongings.
Relax with a soak in the elegant clawfoot bath situated in the adjacent family bathroom, as well as a contemporary walk-in shower, hand basin and WC. Across the way and up a small step are three more bedrooms, including a roomy master bedroom with a large bay window that looks out onto the sea and plenty of room for a cot or bed for a small child. The twin bedroom next door is ideally place for young children to be next to their parents in the master bedroom, with another single bedroom on the other side. Take a scenic drive through to the neighbouring town of Colwyn Bay and dig your toes into the sandy Colwyn Bay Beach, or spend a day with the family at Welsh Mountain Zoo, afterwards heading further afield to the Victorian town of Llandudno with its vibrant pier, popular theatre, ski slope, cable cars and tram, there is plenty to keep the whole family occupied.
For history buffs, take a detour to Conwy Castle on the way home or head to Gwydir Castle only 3 miles east of The Nook. The Nook offers a great base for a memorable holiday to North Wales.
Abergele is a small market town, located on the North Wales Coast. Close to popular seaside destinations such as Colwyn Bay, Rhyl and Llandudno, there is ample opportunity to explore the very best sites and attractions North Wales has to offer. Discover the history of Conwy Castle, built by King Edward I during the famous conquest of Wales. In close proximity, you will find the family-friendly Welsh Mountain Zoo. Stop off at one of the many beautiful beaches and tuck in to a portion of fish and chips for a true seaside experience.
