The accommodation was very well situated, with many local amenities available. The kitchen and dining area are a great size, with lots of storage available. The living room spaces and bedrooms were also all very well-sized, and the beds were very comfy. The Wendover Pub itself was also really good, and we didn't hear any noise from the pub during our stay. There were a few little issues, but nothing that can't be easily fixed: the TV in the second sitting room (not in the kitchen area) was temperamental, with the picture and sound quality dipping at various points; the blinds in the first bedroom (by the sitting room) were broken and lying on the floor when we arrived (we placed them back up, but they're not affixed, so they could come down again if disturbed); there was only one pan in the kitchen, so cooking for a large group was a little difficult at times; there were a few broken or damaged items in the accommodation (glass table in the main sitting room was cracked, multiple curtain hooks had been pulled off, legs on one of the couches in the second sitting room had come off (we fixed them back on, but they could potentially come off again if the couch was moved)); some of the areas/work surfaces were a little dusty and/or sticky). However, these are all minor issues that could easily be rectified, and didn't significantly impact our stay. Overall, it was a very affordable, spacious and pleasant accommodation that I would highly recommend to others.
