Havens End in Conwy is a well-received cottage, praised for its central location, cleanliness, and comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and dog-friendly amenities. The garden and snug room are notable highlights. Some guests mention parking challenges and garden security for pets, but overall experiences are positive, with many looking to return.
The cottage is consistently described as immaculate, spotless, and well-kept. One isolated complaint about garden cleanliness was noted, but overall, the high standard of cleanliness is a recurring theme in guest feedback.
The location is highly praised for its centrality and proximity to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. The convenience of being within the town walls is a significant plus, although some guests find the parking situation and steep hills challenging.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of cosy beds and a well-appointed kitchen. The snug room is a favourite for relaxation. The comfort of the cottage contributes to the overall positive experience.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a fully equipped kitchen and the addition of a garden seating area. However, some concerns about parking and garden security for pets slightly affect the score. The presence of games, books, and technology like WiFi and Netflix are positively noted.
While guests mention a welcoming bottle of Prosecco and the provision of dog beds and bowls, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Next to this, find a charming, traditional country cottage-style kitchen/diner, laced with splendid light grey units and featuring a wooden dining table, the neutral overtone gives it a real homely feel. Take the stairs to the first floor where you will find the two peacefully decorated bedrooms, a pleasant double and a bunk room both benefit from pretty feature fireplaces and provide the ideal accommodation for a family of four. Also on this level is a well-appointed traditional family bathroom, playing host to a bath with a shower over. For some quiet time away from the group, head up to the characterful eaves of Havens End upon the second floor, here you will find a comfortably finished snug room - just perfect for sitting with a book or your headphones in away-from-it-all. This room also has a TV and to the right through the skylight you will find excellent castle views, particularly at night. As a World Heritage Site, Conwy's history and architecture are undeniable, yet the town's centre is a lively bustle of activity. Additionally, in addition to its old festivals and fairs, as well as musical concerts and galleries, there is a variety of restaurants and motels. The cottage is spotless, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Itâs so well set up for dogs as well and Conwy in general is also dog friendly. There were lots of great walks from the door - we particularly loved the stroll into Llandudno and the woods just along from the quay. I was almost hoping for a rainy day so I could relax in the loft room, reading and watching tv. Perhaps next year!
