The property's location is ideal for exploring the area, and its spacious layout is highlighted. While some guests mention minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the overall experience is one of comfort and rural charm.

The cottage received mixed feedback on cleanliness. Some guests found it unclean in places, with mentions of cobwebs and dust, while others felt it was well kept. The presence of both positive and negative comments leads to a score above average.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views and tranquil setting, making it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. The property's rural charm and proximity to attractions contribute to a high score.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the property spacious, but some mention that the sofas and beds in certain rooms could be improved. The overall comfort is deemed satisfactory, with room for minor enhancements.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and good quality amenities. However, issues with maintenance, such as faulty lights and a problematic dishwasher, affect the score. The quick response to reported problems is noted.

The welcome hamper is frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, this score reflects the positive reception of the gesture without setting an expectation.

We had a great stay at Ty Cerrig. All the facilities were fab, lovely lounge with fire and the kitchen was nice and big for cooking and dining. All the bedrooms were nice and clean and comfortable. Only thing to mention would be the garden is not technically enclosed and there are sheep in the fields adjacent that come quite close so we couldn’t let our dogs out without being on the lead. But overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely return!

If not for creaking bedroom floor boards and sticking doors we would have given five stars! It only needed a screwdriver to fix the doors. The drive was not easy to access from the road. Views were fantastic! Place nice and clean throughout.

Comfortable, well equipped, great location - what more could you ask for? A very relaxing long weekend spent in rural Wales with spectacular scenery. The cottage was very clean, warm & so comfortable in every way and a very generous welcome basket was left for us to enjoy. Thank you Rural Retreats.
