Guests say

Ty Cerrig is a beautifully situated cottage offering stunning views and a peaceful rural setting, ideal for a relaxing getaway. Guests consistently praise the spacious layout, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms. The welcome hamper and quality linens are appreciated touches. While the location and scenery are standout features, some guests noted minor maintenance issues, occasional lapses in cleanliness, and that the garden is not fully enclosed for dogs. Overall, the property provides a charming and comfortable base for exploring the area, with most guests expressing a desire to return.

Most guests found the cottage clean and well presented, but several mentioned cobwebs, stained furnishings, and areas needing a deeper clean, such as bathrooms and the fireplace.

The location is highly praised for its breathtaking views, tranquillity, and proximity to local attractions. A few guests noted the neighbouring cottage is closer than expected, but this did not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with good quality beds and spacious living areas. Some mentioned soft or uncomfortable beds, creaking floorboards, and tired sofas, but these were not universal concerns.

The cottage is well equipped, with a spacious kitchen and multiple bathrooms. Some guests experienced maintenance issues such as faulty lights, a broken dishwasher, and underfloor heating problems, but these were usually addressed promptly.

Many guests appreciated the welcome hamper and quality linens, noting these thoughtful touches enhanced their stay. Please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every booking.

We had a great stay at Ty Cerrig. All the facilities were fab, lovely lounge with fire and the kitchen was nice and big for cooking and dining. All the bedrooms were nice and clean and comfortable. Only thing to mention would be the garden is not technically enclosed and there are sheep in the fields adjacent that come quite close so we couldn’t let our dogs out without being on the lead. But overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely return!
