About this property

Centrally located in Llandudno, a bustling coastal town in Conwy, is Owen Villa, a three-bedroom Victorian holiday home. Enjoying a prime setting, just paces away from the beach, an array of amenities and seaside attractions, whilst offering flexible sleeping arrangements, and a stylish interior, the property welcomes six guests, ideal for both families and friends. Start your getaway in the homely sitting room, completed with original local artwork, reflecting many beauty spots across the county, a TV, a decorative fireplace, lofty ceilings, and plush seating, perfect for unwinding after a day of travelling. Head into the well-equipped kitchen with an adjoining utility, where you can fulfil your self-catering needs, offering all expected amenities. Gather around the dining table, also boasting a decorative fireplace and sleek grey furniture, suitable to host home cooked meals. If you'd prefer to dine alfresco, travel outside to the enclosed patio, ideal for watching the sun set, before retiring upstairs to find three bedrooms, all featuring warm interiors and serviced by a spacious bathroom and an additional cloakroom; select between two king-size bedrooms and a bunk room. In the morning, prepare to explore Llandudno and its wealth of amenities dotted across the seafront and promenade, before touring Llandudno Museum, travelling upon the Summit Cable Car up to the Great Orme, and visiting The Owls Trust, a haven for injured birds. Travelling towards Colwyn Bay, you'll arrive at a mixture of attractions, including the resident beach, Welsh Mountain Zoo, and the stunning Porth Dyniewaid Angel Bay, renowned for its cliff top walks and vistas. By car you can also discover more of the county, including Conwy Water Gardens and Snowdonia National Park, with the chance to climb the summits of Carnedd Llewelyn and Glyder Fawr. Explore many beauty spots in Conwy at Owen Villa.

The Great Orme and the Little Orme, two headlands that Llandudno is sandwiched between, as well as the town's two waterfronts, are what make this popular tourist destination so unique. The town has two outstanding beaches: the North Shore, which has a huge promenade backed by an impressive crescent of Victorian hotels, and the calmer West Shore, which has miles of sandy shoreline backed by dunes and wonderful views of Anglesey. The Great Orme Tramway or an exhilarating over-a-mile cable car journey will get you to the summit of the 679ft Great Orme, though, for the greatest views. The promenade is close to a fantastic selection of shops, bars, restaurants, and cafés in the town as well as Venue Cymru, North Wales’s finest theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy, and touring orchestras, which boasts an unmatched schedule.

We soon found we had an infestation of fruit flies - something that was already known by the owner/cleaner as a sticky fly strip had been put up by the extractor fan in the kitchen. My daughter and I finally got rid of them by our second week, but it was not a pleasant thing to have to keep chasing the things down and have them fly in our faces on a regular basis. The left hand blind in the lounge bay window also didn't work so it was permanently closed and the others felt very awkward when closing or opening them - as if they were about to lose their function as well. Just little things but also things that could have been dealt with before our arrival as the cottage was empty (according to your web site) for quite a few days before our arrival.

( DVD player is no good as it only plays Blu-ray ) Would definitely go back there. Thought parking might be an issue but could drop everything off then parked car down a side road. Many thanks
