About this property

Located in a prime position, in the heart of the Great Orme in Llandudno, a coastal town in Conwy is Pebblestone Cottage, a delightful, three-bedroom home. Just paces away from a hub of amenities, attractions, and the beach, Pebblestone Cottage also rests next to the Great Orme Tramway, making it a wonderful base for exploration; five guests are invited to this lovely home. Park up on the roadside, taking in your elevated position, overlooking the stunning North Wales countryside. Step indoors to be greeted by the homely sitting room, where you can unwind with both the Smart TV and woodburning stove in sight. Head into the kitchen/diner to fulfil your self-catering needs, where you can rustle up and enjoy delicious meals, before enjoying a tipple in the rear garden as the sun sets. As day turns into night, head upstairs to locate three well-appointed bedrooms, including a double, a single, and a bunk room, the latter offering the perfect space for the children of your group. All bedrooms are serviced by a spacious bathroom, providing the ideal place to prepare for your coming days. Awaken to views across the town, before heading on foot to stock up on the essentials or to dine out at a seafront restaurant, before kickstarting your itinerary of attractions; take the tramway up to the Great Orme, enjoying stunning vistas from the summit, burn off some energy at the Llandudno Ski and Snowboard Centre, tour the Llandudno Pier and its host of amusements, stroll along North Shore Beach, or attend a show at Venue Cymru. Follow the coastline along to Colwyn Bay, where you can visit the Welsh Mountain Zoo, a favourite with families, take a dip, fish, or unwind at Rhos-on-Sea Beach, also perfect for hiking, cycling and watersports, before opting for a nature-filled landscape at Bryn Euryn Nature Reserve. Round off your break in Conwy, with Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr, and Conwy Caernarvonshire Golf Club recognised as popular attractions, before reaching the gateway into the Eryri National Park. Enjoy a central base at Pebblestone Cottage.

The two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme, as well as the town's two waterfronts are what gives Llandudno its unique attraction as a tourist destination. There are two outstanding beaches in the town: the North Shore, which has a huge promenade backed by an impressive crescent of Victorian hotels, and the calmer West Shore, which has kilometres of sandy beachfront backed by sand dunes and amazing views of Anglesey. However, for the greatest views, you may take the Great Orme Tramway or an exhilarating over-a-mile cable car journey to the peak of the 679ft Great Orme. The promenade is only a short distance from the town's excellent collection of stores, pubs, restaurants, and cafés. Venue Cymru, North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy, and visiting orchestras, also sits nearby.

The accommodation was well appointed with a nice lounge and kitchen. The bedrooms were really nice. The bathroom was also nice and clean. I do like a bath which it had, as well as the shower over the bath. The owner needs to be aware that the sliding bathroom door kept coming off it's rail and was also noisy and ill-fitting. The fridge knob is loose. The front is lovely to sit out but the bench is flimsy. The rear outside space requires some attention, we actually removed some of the weeds there. The key press isn't the easiest to use. I would gladly return

It was clean on arrival with fresh bedding and towels provided. The amenities in the cottage were good. We had a problem with the WiFi but the owner sorted this out when I messaged him. The view from the cottage was fab and it's well placed for walks over the Great Orme. As described the cottage is on a steep slope and the steps in the cottage are very steep so not for people with walking issues or who aren't confident driving and parking. We had no issues though. We really enjoyed our stay and Llandudno and surrounding areas are our fav place to go. Would definitely return.
