About this property

This cottage lies in the heart of Deganwy, 30 seconds walk to the stunning beach which boasts views to Conwy Castle, Conwy Marina and the mountains one way and to Puffin Island, Anglesey and the Great Orme, Llandudno the other. The property is a 20 to 30 minute walk by coastal path/cycle track to either of the holiday resorts of Conwy and Llandudno both of which can also be accessed by train from Deganwy station very close by. Perfect for families or a group of friends, Sefton Cottage has been lovingly designed in a seaside theme, with soft furnishings and a luxury feel which flows room to room.

As you enter, you will discover a homely lounge dressed in elegant blues and whites, with an electric woodburner effect fire tucked away into a fireplace, to warm those cooler evenings. There is an immaculate kitchen close by, reflecting a bespoke image, and complete with a table featuring bench seating. Upstairs, three bedrooms await; here you will be spoilt for choice between the two doubles, and the twin set-up, each thoughtfully accessorised, continuing the soothing coastal scheme, to leave you truly relaxed one night to the next. A panelled family bathroom ties the accommodation together in a wonderful fashion, and a cloakroom graces each floor accordingly.

Outside, spend some time in the courtyard which is situated to the front of the cottage, a chance to be at one with the location in your leisure time. There is an abundance of activities to suit all interests on offer in this area; from a stroll on the beach, to sea fishing, walking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to enjoying the castles, mines, the world class adventure tourism in the area, to 3 world class golf links courses running along this beautiful stretch of the North Wales Coast. Llandudno was very popular during the Victorian era, and this is evident in the architecture and the very impressive promenade.

The town also has a pier with family attractions, a theatre and for the more adventurous, a dry ski slope. A short car journey and you have Surf Snowdonia - a world-first inland surf lagoon along with Zip World incorporating not one but 2 of the longest and fastest zip wires in the world. Between Deganwy, Llandudno and Conwy there is something for everyone.

There is an abundance of activities to suit all interests on offer in this area; from sea fishing, walking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to enjoying the castles, mines, beaches and gardens of this stretch of the North Wales Coast. Very comfortable and clean. Seconds away from the beach. Ideal base to tour the area. Would definitely recommend.

However since there were only two of us we were ok. A suggestion to improve the bathroom facilities for future guests would be to convert the twin room into a new bath-room and make one of the doubles into a twin for a family of four. Also since the TV was internet it took quite a while to warm up. However we only watched in the evening. To conclude on a positive note, the cottage was perfect for getting around the area. Lovely walks to Llandudno and Conwy with good eating places and take-aways in the village. Lastly this a cosy cottage with comfy beds which means a lot!

The cottage had everything we needed and it was clean, tidy, comfortable and we all loved the nautical theme throughout the property. The only thing that we found frustrating and disappointing was the Smart TV, which was difficult to navigate and ended up only being able to watch the terrestrial channels and that was only after a wait of 20/30 minutes every time we switched it on! We were looking forward to being able to watch all the extra channels available on the Smart TV, but were unable to do so, due to a slow connection.
